LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30, 1984) is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Widely regarded as one of the greatest basketball players of all time, James has won four NBA championships, four NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards, four NBA Finals MVP awards, and two Olympic gold medals.
He has played for the Cleveland Cavaliers (twice), the Miami Heat, and the Los Angeles Lakers. James holds numerous NBA records and is the league's all-time leading scorer.
Off the court, James is a successful businessman and philanthropist. His business ventures include SpringHill Company, an entertainment and production company, and he has investments in various companies. He is also known for his philanthropic work through the LeBron James Family Foundation, which supports educational initiatives in Akron, Ohio, his hometown.
